Before we get started with the repair, please read this article fully.

It’s Very important that you do not dismiss any of these stages and perform each phase in the sequence suggested below.

Make sure you carry out each part until given the all clear by me personally, even if your symptoms seem to have stopped. The absence of any warning signs does not guarantee the problem has gone away.

Please comply with the directions precisely and don’t attempt to fix this without my instruction, nor should you install any alternative fix tools except when requested by me or another administrator in this specific site.

1. Download Reimage from the link beneath:

-> Reimage Download

(Click on the weblink just above and you should see a box appear like the image beneath. Then choose whether to click ‘Run’ or save it and double click it from your personal computer.)

2. As soon as Reimage has launched it should start a scan . (You’ll see something similar to the screenshot below )

3. Once the diagnostic scan is finished, click on Repair (The repair can take a short time, simply just allow it to do it’s job.)

4. When the repair is finished, reboot your device etc. (See beneath.)

Tell me the result…

2. Install and load Driver Detective. It should ask if you would like to scan your computer, just click the ‘Scan’ button. As soon as it is done, it will display the results of the scan; click ‘Next’ and keep to the on-screen instructions to finish the restoration. More detailed instructions can be found here.

3. When the program has concluded, you need to reboot your computer.

Hi Sue, welcome to the forum.

Before we get started with the repair, take the time to check out this page entirely.

It’s Essential that you do not ignore any one of these stages and perform every step in the sequence suggested just below.

Make sure you execute each part until given the all clear by myself, even if your symptoms seem to have stopped. Having no warning signs doesn’t mean your current error has disappeared.

Make sure you carry out these guidelines properly and you should not attempt to resolve anything without my instruction, nor should you run any alternative fix applications except when instructed by myself or an alternative admin from this message board.

1. Download Reimage from the following link:

-> Reimage Download

(Click on the link above and you will see a box pop up like the one underneath. Next you can click on ‘Run’ or save it and double click it from your laptop or computer.)

2. As soon as Reimage has opened it should begin a diagnostic scan . (You will see a window similar to the screenshot below )

3. As soon as the scan is completed, simply click Repair (The restoration can take a short time, simply just allow it to do it’s job.)

4. Once the fix is finished, reboot your computer etc. (Look beneath.)

Let me know what happens…

thanks, ran Reimage and restarted the system. The leading problems have gone but I still get an periodic issue with Xp Error Code 7?

That’s ok. We need to run a second tool before the restoration is finished.

Warning – only run this application after having conducted a full scan and repair using Reimage above.

1. Download Driver Detective from below and save it to your Desktop.

Download Driver Detective Link

2. Install and load Driver Detective. It will ask if you would like to scan your pc, simply click the ‘Scan’ button in the software. As soon as it’s done, it should display the findings of the scan; click ‘Next’ and follow the instructions to complete the repair. More detailed tutorials are found here.

3. When the program has finished, make sure you restart your machine.
