Re: How to fix Zip.a error message? Hi Sue, welcome to the forum. Just before we get started with this repair, be sure you go through this thread completely. Its Crucial you do not disregard some of these stages and follow every step in the order shown just below. Ensure that you carry out every stage until given the all clear by me personally, even if your symptoms appear to have stopped. The absence of any signs or symptoms doesn’t mean the issue has disappeared. Please carry out the instructions accurately and you should not try to repair anything without my instruction, neither should you run any other scanning tools except when requested by myself or an alternative admin from this specific forum.
1. Please download Reimage from the following link:
(Click on the link just above and you should notice a box display like the box directly below. Then you can just click ‘Run’ or you can save it and double-click it from your desktop computer.)
2. As soon as Reimage has launched it should initiate a diagnostic scan . (You will observe a window similar to the screenshot directly below )
3. The moment the scan is completed, just click Fix (The restoration can take a short time, simply just let it do it’s job.)
4. As soon as the fix is finished, restart your PC etc. (Look beneath.)
Let me know the result…

Re: How to fix Zip.a error message?
No problem. We must run another program prior to the repair is completed. Warning – only use this tool after you’ve carried out a total diagnostic scan and repair by using Reimage just above. 1. Please download Driver Detective from below and save it to your PC. Download Driver Detective Link
2. Install and load Driver Detective. It will ask if you’d like to scan your machine, simply click the ‘Scan’ button in the software. As soon as it is done, it should show you the results of the diagnostic scan; click ‘Next’ and keep to the instructions to finish the repair. More detailed instructions are on hand here. 3. As soon as the application has concluded, you need to reboot your pc.
Please report back in this thread with the end results! |

Re: How to fix Zip.a error message? Now that your machine is nice and clean, to help safeguard your computer in the future I highly recommend you consider these programs: Windows Update Spyware Doctor – to help stop trojans, spyware and adware from appearing. Install & update Spyware Doctor.
